California School Bond Measures: Under the Hood

Since the passage of Proposition 39 in November 2000, California voters have approved over 1,300 local school and community college bond measures totaling $180 billion. This presentation will cover how these bonds are structured and various financing options that a district can offer to its voters. We will also review and analyze underlying voter and historical election data that can often determine a measure’s chances of success.
