8:15-9:15am | One Pill Can Kill: How Fentanyl is Impacting San Diego County and what every parent and every school can do to save lives. Fentanyl is the leading cause of death for people between the ages of 18 and 45 and it has claimed lives as young as 13 in San Diego County. Combatting fentanyl overdoses includes dedicated law enforcement efforts and prosecution along with effective prevention education at home, in our schools and in our community. It also requires accessible treatment for persons suffering from addiction. Join San Diego County District Attorney Summer Stephan as she addresses this crisis.
