You may now search and pay for secured, unsecured, defaulted, supplemental, and escape tax bills. Click the "Continue" button below to get started, and follow the prompts to search, select, and pay your bill. Just remember, your transaction is not final until you click "Submit" and receive a receipt that says "Successful."
Paying online is free if you use e-check (electronic check). You will be charged a 2.19% convenience fee for using a credit card.

When searching for a secured, defaulted, supplemental, or escape bill, please search either by the parcel number or the current mailing address.
When searching for an unsecured bill (for businesses, boats, airplanes, etc.), please search by the 4-digit year and 6-digit bill number.
If you experience server errors when trying to access the online payment system from a foreign country, the country you are located in may be blocked by the payment processing server. You must either mail your payment or pay by credit card on our phone payment system at (619) 696-9994 or (855) 829-3773. Please have your payment postmarked on or before the delinquent date.
You may purchase duplicate tax bills for $1 at any Tax Collector's office.
Our office collects Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) in the
unincorporated areas of the county. We conducts periodic random audits
of business establishments subject to the TOT ordinance. Audits
performed are posted below.

Operators are responsible for keeping records for a minimum of
three prior years and making those records available for inspection.
The County has the right to inspect these records and will conduct
periodic audits of an establishment in order to ensure compliance with
the Transient Occupancy Tax Ordinance. In addition to periodic audits,
if an establishment is new, changing ownership or name, or ceasing
operations, a request for an audit must be made. The County will
identify the amount of unpaid taxes that must be collected and
remitted to avoid future liability for the seller and buyer. A TOT Tax
Clearance Certificate confirming that there is no outstanding tax
liability will be issued upon payment of any amount determined to be
due as a result of the audit.
